Initially running on 32-bit systems, Mozilla Firefox updated to a 64-bit MSI package for Windows in 2016. The main advantages include improved download protection, process separation, and specific customizations on the web browser. While you can use the interface bar like a search engine, Google appears as the default.
This is a regular expression specifying that the URI handler is used for Firefox 53 and later. Assuming that you want to activate URI handler for the current Firefox version 50, you can change the regular expression to be (Firefox/(([5-9][0-9])\d\d\d)). Below are the screen shots illustrate the HDX engine detection and download process using the URI handler through Firefox.

Now Firefox will open up, and produces a huge amount of logging information which is stored in a file under /Downloads/firefox-log.txt. Try to open some site, then close Firefox and upload the resulting log here.
Welcome to the PortableApps.com Project on SourceForge. Most of our users download and install our apps through the PortableApps.com Platform's built-in app store and then keep them updated using the platform's built in updater. You can download the PortableApps.com Platform and give it a try using the recommended download at the top of the page.
You can also use our apps on their own just by downloading the individual .paf.exe portable installers. Portable installers in PortableApps.com Format have a ton of benefits over generic zip files including smaller download size, digitally signed, self-checks for tampering, and lots more. You can find all our apps in the Portable App Directory or by browsing individual app downloads above.
Once the file downloads, follow the installation instructions it throws up to install this version of your device. However, bear in mind that Firefox is set for automatic updates by default. In order to ensure that this older version does not automatically update itself, you have to change the update settings.
Every old Firefox download translates to a tedious, mind-numbing repetitive task. It is the definition of too much effort for inadequate returns, especially when Method 2 will make the entire process infinitely easier. As mentioned in the introduction, it also requires no downloads.
A real device cloud, such as the one provided by BrowserStack, offers the optimal way to access older Firefox versions with the least possible time and effort. Instead of downloading older versions of Firefox, sign up for free, login, and choose from Firefox versions 32 to 97.
Now that you know how to download old versions of Firefox, you also know that you actually have to download them for website testing. The BrowserStack solution demonstrably reduces the amount of time and effort required to access real browsers for testing. The cherry on the cake is that we also offer real devices hosted on the cloud with those real browsers, so you get exact real user conditions to run tests on. You can test your websites and apps on mobile browsers as well. This ensures that you end up getting far fewer bugs than with any other testing method.
If you have already been migrated to 64-bit Firefox 56.0.1 but prefer to run 32-bit Firefox, you can download 32-bit Windows Firefox 56.0.1 and re-install. Firefox will not attempt to migrate 32-bit users running version 56.0.1 or later!

We seem to be getting 200Kb/s download rates on those tasks, looking at the one linked running on i-09beb0b7fae61a6e3. That's even when there's only one download remaining. We don't seem to have cloudwatch metrics, and papertrail doesn't report more than one task running at once. I'll try some experiments

Any news from the AWS support request ? We've had this several times on 79.0b7 today, eg task EkTnIrK3Tjqv3qzKQSFjRw. There are 3 downloads from archive.m.o and two complete in a second, but the last drags on, and repeatedly across several retries in the task, and rerunning the task. Super weird. Is there any DDOS protection that might be kicking in ?

That format was called ZOT, and was based on compressed OpenType. "Kew's proposal described a way to compress the individual tables of a SFNT font in a way that not only made the file smaller, but it also offered possibilities for smarter bandwidth use," explained Leming. "For example, a mobile browser could only download the cmap table from the font, decompress it, look at its contents and decide if the rest of the font should be downloaded. This format was liked quite a bit by some of the browser makers, but it wasn't well known among the type industry," he told Ars.
Some type companies wanted encryption and the ability to compel browsers to enforce licensing. Browser vendors wanted open standards, compression to speed downloads, and didn't want to be responsible for font licensing enforcement. Web developers wanted something easy and straightforward to use.
